We select our mulches from New Jersey's best suppliers. The wood is ground to the proper texture and carefully screened.  Some mulch is best created from raw wood while other types, like dyed mulch products, are best created from dry, light colored woods such as with wood from house demolitions.  We select only those suppliers that pass our quality standards for minimal debris content to ensure that you don't recieve unwanted materials in the mulch you purchase.

Mulch does more than provide a neat appearance. It retains moisture for plant roots, inhibits weed growth and, as it breaks down, provides organic matter for the soil. Think of it as a wet washcloth on the soil - it soaks and holds moisture, making it available for the plants.
